Following the drone incidents of recent weeks, an increased number of foreign soldiers will be visible in Denmark in the coming time.
This is stated by the Danish Defence in a press release.
The soldiers’ presence is part of the contributions that allied countries have promised to make available to deal with the situation. Among other things, Germany has offered to supply anti-drone equipment in connection with the EU summit in Copenhagen, which is taking place these days.
- The support we are currently experiencing from our close allies is clear proof of the strong international cooperation, says Chief of Defence Michael Hyldgaard in the Danish Defence’s statement.
Among the countries contributing soldiers or capabilities are France, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Germany, Ukraine, the UK and the USA.
