For several days, the Army has had units stationed at the various military service locations and facilities around the country, the Defense Department states on its website.
Among other things, infantry fighting vehicles, together with other systems, have been in operation 24/7 to monitor the airspace over the areas. The background is the repeated sightings of drones over Denmark.
For operational safety reasons, the Defense Department does not wish to reveal exactly which vehicles are involved, how many units have been deployed, or where they are located.
