The latest drone sightings in Denmark are not an isolated incident. Drones have previously been recorded over areas belonging to Airbus’ defense and aerospace division.
This was stated by the division’s CEO, Michael Schoellhorn, in a podcast interview with German journalist Paul Ronzheimer, according to Bild.
He describes how drones flew over Airbus facilities for several hours without the police being able to stop them or find the responsible pilot.
- It is not a good situation, says Schoellhorn, who is now warning about the seriousness of the problem.
However, it is not clear when or exactly where the sightings took place. Airbus’ defense and aerospace division has facilities in several European countries, including Germany, France, Spain and the UK.
